'This Is Us' Star Sterling K. Brown Talks New Film 'Marshall' On The VTRS!

Your new home for Black Star Power keeps the training rolling as we welcome is 2x Emmy Award Winner Sterling K. Brown. You know him as “Christopher Darden” in the FX People vs O.J. Simpson series and as Randall Pearson on the hit NBC series, This is Us.

Well now Sterling Is co-starring in the brand new movie MARSHALL along with Kate Hudson, Josh Gad and Chadwick Boseman as the title character Thurgood Marshall. MARSHALL, is the true story of Thurgood’s greatest challenge in those early days – a fight he fought alongside attorney Sam Friedman (Josh Gad), a young lawyer with no experience in criminal law: the case of black chauffeur Joseph Spell (Sterling K. Brown), accused by his white employer, Eleanor Strubing (Kate Hudson), of sexual assault and attempted murder.

They struggle against a hostile storm of fear and prejudice, driven to discover the truth in a sensationalized trial that helped lay the groundwork for the Civil Rights Movement.
